Hi, I’m Clare and I ran 12 races in 2017 for St Clare Hospice in memory of my Little Nan, Lily Este. Nan passed away in 2015 at St Clare Hospice in Harlow at the age of 103 years.
During 2017 with the help of friends and family we raise over £5000 for the Hospice.
Now 2018 I have decided to fundraise for Mind. Along with my partner John Kennedy we will be taking on Race to the Tower on 9th & 10th June. So far we have raised £160 of our £900 target.
I have been running since 2014 and completed the Brighton Marathon in April 2016. I am not a fast runner and running does not come easy to me, in fact I look like a penguin with a limp when I run.
So now I am going to share my life and my running journey with you, I can’t promise it will be amazing but it will be honest.
